GECKO TIME: The Lizarding

Some photos I took last month. It was a nice enough day that I took the geckos outside for pictures! Artemis didn't really care, though Rosie kept licking the air like it was a thing she could eat somehow. Also, I have confirmed that Artemis is a boy, which... matters to absolutely no one. But now you know.

Rosie is almost full-grown now, which is amazing since I only just got her in May. She really loves her food, so much that I've actually had to cut back a bit since she's getting a little chunky.

Here's some Artemis:

The sunlight emphasizes his brown/yellow tones. For awhile he looked like he was going to go more gray/black, but now he's definitely brown. I've seen pictures of some of the other babies from Artemis's mother who look quite a bit like him, though she's more black/white/gray, so there's still a chance his colors will end up like hers. I kind of like them the way they are, though.

Also the plant they're on is my juniper bonsai, which I meant to post photos of but haven't gotten around to doing yet. I'm waiting until spring to start trimming and training it.

Edit because I forgot to add some pictures:

Also, Rosie being ridiculous:

Oh, Rosie.

While I'm at it, have a random picture of my dog being weird:
